You can apply for a new CAS within the UK if one of the following is true:

• You're a current University of Greenwich student in the UK and require a CAS extension.

• You have recently and successfully completed a programme of study in the UK and are progressing to a higher level of study (i.e. completed a Bachelor’s degree and moving into a Master’s programme). Your student visa must not expire more than 28 days before the start of your new programme.

• Your current student visa has not expired.

If none of the above apply to you, you will need to apply for your CAS from outside of the UK.

If you hold a visa listed below and are currently in the UK, you will need to leave the UK before we can issue you with a new CAS:

• Visit visa

• Short-term student visa

• Parent of a child student visa

• Domestic worker in a private household visa

• Leave outside the immigration rules
