In certain circumstances, you will be required to submit financial evidence as part of your CAS application. This is particularly so if you are required to apply outside of the UK, e.g. you are returning from interruption. You can find a comprehensive guide around demonstrating your finances on our "Financial requirements" webpage. It is important that if you are required to submit financial documents, that these are in the right format to help your visa application to be successful.
If either of the below apply to you, you would not be expected to demonstrate your finances for your CAS or visa application:
- If you are applying in-country and have been in the UK for at least 12 months with valid permission to stay.
