We understand that you often need to earn while you study. You can do this, but think about the time you need for your university work, and make sure you stay within any restrictions if you have a Student visa. If you're a student at degree level and above, you can usually work part time for 20 hours per week in term-time and that reduces to 10 hours a week if you're below degree level. You'll find a week is defined as running from Monday through to Sunday.

You can work full-time hours only during recognised university holidays or when you have completed your studies, based on your CAS end date. If you don't have any outstanding assignments or exams the course end date on your CAS can be when you can start working full time. However, if you need to resit any assignments, you must revert to back to no more than 20 hours per week, as you will be considered back under term-time conditions.

Please make sure to read our 'Working in the UK during your study' webpage carefully before taking up any work.
