If I ask to speak to a Report and Support advisor, will the university launch an investigation or formal complaint, or tell the police?

We appreciate that disclosing an incident can feel quite overwhelming. Completing the "Speak to an Advisor" form is a way of accessing information and support from a specially trained advisor so that you can decide what happens next. It does not trigger a formal investigation. However, there may be times when we will need to disclose information that you have shared with us.
