It depends on your course.
Social work: we have local authority and private sector settings and will do our best to match you to the most suitable one for your learning and location needs.
Early years: we have settings in nurseries and schools throughout London and the Greater London area and beyond.
Primary education: placements can be up to a 90-minute journey from our Avery Hill Campus.
Further education and secondary education: the location depends on several factors.
Midwifery and nursing (not adult nursing): you will be allocated a trust when you start your course.
Adult nursing: the placement will be within your home trust.
Paramedic science: the main placement is with NHS Ambulances Trust.
MSc Child and Adolescents Psychology and MSc Therapeutic Counselling: you are responsible for finding your own placement.
