Twin rooms are available in McMillan Student Village and Daniel Defoe Hall, two bedroom flat shares are available in Daniel Defoe Hall. All students living in the twin rooms must be studying full time at the University of Greenwich and each make a separate application and booking.
You do not need to know the person you live with and when you book in, you can leave your contact details so you can chat to your new roommate before you arrive. Remember you will be sharing one bedroom and living space, so it will help to make agreements about your lifestyle and any compromises you might need to make for example - what to do if you arrive home and your roommate is sleeping.
If you think you might be unhappy sharing a room with someone you do not know, you might want to look at other options. We have some two bedroom flat shares, where you have your own bedroom and share the kitchen hub, shower and toilet with one other roommate.
If you are not sure if your room is a twin room or a two bedroom flatshare, check your booking information or reach out to a member of the team. There is just one room in Daniel Defoe which is a twin, the others are two bedroom flat shares. In McMillan Student Village we have a mix of twin shared rooms and individual studios or rooms in flat shares.
