Typically, your final degree outcome is calculated on the grades you achieve during levels 5 and 6  (often the second and third years of a three-year course). The average of all your level 5 marks forms 20% of your final outcome; the average of your best 90 credits from your level 6 modules forms 80% of your final outcome. This is often referred to as the ‘20:80 ratio’.
