If you are struggling to pay your fees or you are having difficulties with obtaining a Tuition Fee Loan, we really encourage you to reach out as soon as possible to get the best advice and to see what additional help might be available.

The best thing to do is to start by submitting Student Finance self-referral and request to book an appointment with the Student Finance Advice team for further guidance. Please provide as much information in your self-referral and attach any applicable evidence for the team to review.  The evidence you might want to submit could be evidence of your current finances, letters from the relevant loan company or documents showing what has happened that means you can't pay.

It will also be important to refer to the Tuition Fee Policies, particularly the sections, "Procedures and Sanctions Applied for Non-Payment of Tuition Fees", "Request for Payment Plans/Deferred payments" and "Tuition Fee Liability".

We will do our best to help, but if after the remote appointment you are still unable to make the payment required for your tuition fee or we are unable to offer you an exception payment plan then we may suggest you lake a look at, and even consider the option of interrupting your study with the aim of returning at a later time when you're in a more financially stable situation.
