Once you have submitted your visa application, it is important to send us evidence of your application. Proof of your application can either be your Document Checklist (available on the GOV.UK website once you have submitted your application), or a copy of the email that you should receive from UKVI confirming that you have submitted your application.

All evidence that you send to us must clearly show:

• Your name

• Type of visa you have applied for

• Date that the application was submitted

The Visa Compliance Team will review all evidence sent to make sure it sufficiently covers all of the above and upload onto your student record. If you applying from in the UK, this is essential so that we can see you have submitted a valid, in-time application, i.e. before the date that your current visa expires.

In most instances, the Visa Compliance Team will contact you to remind you to provide any evidence, as needed, and you will normally be asked to submit this to the team through an online form. It is extremely important to provide this evidence, as this will demonstrate your current immigration status in the UK whilst your application is pending/awaiting decision.
