Whether you are entitled to a qualification (or 'exit award') if you withdraw after completing your first year of study will depend on your specific programme, how many modules you have completed and how many credits you have achieved.

At undergraduate level, if you fully complete your first year of study (achieving at least 120 credits, with 90 of those credits at Level 4 or above), you may be entitled to a Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE).

At postgraduate level, you may be entitled to a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) if you successfully complete at least 60 credits at Level 7 (or higher), or a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) if you successfully complete at least 120 credits at Level 7 (or higher).

For more information about any award you may be eligible to receive, please create an enquiry in the Digital Student Centre.
