The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition is an opportunity for postgraduate research students (PGRs) to present their research to an audience using 1 slide, in under 3 minutes. The competition is globally recognized, with competitions held in over 900 universities across 80 countries. Students are judged on the comprehension and content of their presentation, how the research is communicated and audience engagement. Benefits of participation include the opportunity to share your research and understand how others view it, powerful presentation training to enhance your confidence, presentation and communication skills, and the opportunity to win prize money at both the faculty and university level. The university Judge’s Choice winner will also represent the University of Greenwich in the UK Vitae national competition. You can view videos from past University of Greenwich participants on our 3MT webpage.
