Depending on which campuses you are travelling from and to will depend on what you need to do.

If your journey includes travelling from or to the Medway campus then you will need to book a ticket for each journey you plan to make (two tickets for a return journey).

To register and book tickets for the university bus from or to the Medway campus, please visit the bus ticket booking webpage.  There is a small charge for each ticket you book, but this remains the cheapest way to travel between our Kent and London campuses.

If your journey is just between the Avery Hill and Greenwich campuses, there is no need to book a ticket as this service is free to anyone with a Student ID card.

More information about the bus service can be found on our intercampus bus service webpage, and bus timetable can be also be found on the bus timetable page.

Bus stops can be found:

  • Outside the Dreadnought Building for Greenwich or Avery to Medway services
  • Outside the Queen Anne Building for Greenwich to Avery Hill services
  • Bus stop by the security gatehouse on Southwood site for Avery Hill to Greenwich or Medway services
  • Bus stop by the security gatehouse on Central Avenue for Medway to Avery Hill or Greenwich services

It is also useful to follow the bus update service X (formally Twitter) account for updates, including any temporary changes to where the bus will pick up from.
