If you are a January Postgraduate Student and study a Postgraduate programme in the Faculty of Engineering and Science then we want to confirm that you do not have a Summer Break.
All January starters should be working on their dissertations over the Summer period (from Friday 25th July onwards including all of August/early September 2025)
You will then return to your formal in class/person studies from Monday 22nd September 2025 onwards.
You will be able to work in line with your student visa (up to 20 hours a week), but you are still engaged in formal study so cannot work full time.
