When you are offered a room transfer, you will be asked to sign a new licence agreement to confirm the new allocation.
Usually, you will have a day to sign the new agreement.
After you have signed the new licence, a member of the Accommodation Service team will send you an email confirming the transfer is agreed.
If you need a new payment plan, the team will arrange this for you.
Your next step will be to complete your online check in for the new room and check out from your current room, this will generate an email with instructions for your key collection and return. You can usually keep both sets of keys for a few hours, while you complete your move.
Remember, you must clear the room you are moving from on the date your licence ends, and then return the keys. If you are moving at the start of semester two and you are going away for Christmas Break and cannot come back on your move day, you must empty your current room when you leave hall. If you do not clear your current room on the day of your move, this might mean your relocation is cancelled.
