University life is full of opportunities—but it can also feel overwhelming at times. That’s where your Faculty Student Advisor (FSA) comes in. FSAs are here to support you throughout your journey at Greenwich, helping you stay on track, feel confident, and make the most of your time here.

What Do FSAs Do?

Think of your FSA as a friendly guide who’s here to help you thrive. They’re not academic tutors, but they work closely with your programme team to make sure you’re supported from every angle.

Your FSA can:

  • Talk through anything affecting your studies or wellbeing
  • Help you understand university processes (like absence requests or support plans)
  • Connect you with services like wellbeing, disability, or financial support
  • Support you in making informed decisions about your studies

Whether you’re facing a challenge or just need someone to talk to, your FSA is here for you.

When Should You Get in Touch?

Reach out to your FSA if:

  • You’re struggling with attendance or engagement
  • Personal circumstances are affecting your studies
  • You’re not sure where to go for help
  • You just want a friendly, knowledgeable person to talk to

No issue is too small - if it matters to you, it matters to us.

You can now find your FSA easily via the Student Records System. Access the Student Records System via the Portal, then click Student Information, and find Student Profile. Your FSA is shown underneath Academic Tutor.
