Can Health Continuing professional development (CPD) Associate students receive a certificate?
We unfortunately don't provide certificates for standalone Health CPD modules.

Can Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Associate students on Health Science programmes receive references?
As most Health CPD courses are standalone modules, academics don't know the students well enough to provide references.

Can I get a supporting letter for my mental health?
If you have had recent contact with Student Wellbeing Services, and have been engaging with support, then we can provide you with a supporting letter.

Can I start my course without the necessary DBS check?
You can start your course without your DBS check, but you must have it by the time your placement starts.

Can I use my current DBS instead of applying for a new one?
You may be able to if it's registered on the DBS Update Service and meets certain criteria.

Does the university provide any letters to permit students to work full-time?
Unfortunately, the university doesn't have the authority to comment on your eligibility to work full-time.

You can get a digital letter by logging into the Digital Student Centre and clicking on the 'My Documents' button.

You can visit any of our three Student Centres to have your documents checked.

How do I get my degree certificate after resits and finishing my Industrial Practice placement?
If you have recently completed your studies an email will be sent to the personal email address held by the university, 3 weeks after your results have been published on the Student Portal.

You can access your letters by sharing your student ID number with the UGIC admin team.

What certificates do I get when I successfully complete my apprenticeship?
Successfully completing your apprenticeship will give you two award: one from us and one from your work placement.

This will depend on how many modules you have completed, and how many credits you have achieved.

What is an exit award?
You receive an exit award if you achieve a set number of credits but do not complete your degree in full.

You can rely on your programme admin to send out your certificates.

Can I get a student letter before I am fully registered?
Student letters are only available to fully registered students based on our Greenwich, Avery Hill or Medway campuses.

Can I get a provisional degree certificate?
We can't issue provisional degree certificates after you've finished your course.
